I found magazines and books on the subject, and talked to people I came across in my search that had done scrapbooks themselves, and got lots of tips and helpful advice from them. Nothing beats the horse's mouth when you need advice and help.

Learn the basic facts, and scrapbooking is not complicated at all...even for all of you newbies out there.

One of the minor hitches in the picture is that there is SO much information out there now, that you can get bogged down in facts and what all, and lose your focus and get totally frustrated and lost.

When you search a lot of the websites on the internet you don't find much nuts and bolts advice, just a lot of themes to work with and layouts and templates. That's all well and good if you know what you're doing. But if you were like I was, I had no idea what to do with it all.

And the magazines are a whole other story....they are so full of advertisements galore that the projects take a back seat and it's hard to follow how they did some of the projects.
